About

I’m an designer/developer living in Los Angeles, currently operating as Nodesnoop Labs. My primary interest is in creating playful interactive experiences, be it new types of mobile gamescarbon emissions scoreboards, music RPGs, or whatever else.

Some of my work has been written up in obscure print outlets like the New York Times and in larger circulation magazines like Canada’s #1 Horror ‘zine Rue Morgue, as well as on sites like BoingBoing and Engadget.  I’ve also done stuff at the Wired Nextfest and various O’Reilly conferences like Where 2.0 and the Maker Faire.

I’ve lived in Los Angeles since 2003, and have also lived in Providence, RI and Salt Lake City UT, where I learned to go up and down mountains on various types of bicycles and skis.

I’ve also been Senior Researcher, User Experience at Nokia Research Hollywood and am acting as a Tactical Research Associate for the Near Future Laboratory.

Most importantly, I’m a member of Ted Webb’s Fantasy Football League.
